This is the Downtown LP. Originally released and mishandled by Coup De Grace in 2005. It currently has some sideways Euro-Asian thing going on which I have no ties to (long story). Anyway…I recorded this in my bedroom at 23 Ocean Parkway Apt. B-23, Brooklyn. This started in June 2002. As I ventured into Manhattan to showcase the material I started getting alot of support and a British girl named Jo hooked me up with Flood and Alan Moulder. I flew over there in January 2004 with all my files and a fuzz pedal. We got on to overdubbing and mixing about 5 of the songs. Flood is a total genius and totally rewrote one of the songs (Head Down to the Truth, to be released soon). Alan is a total gentleman and patiently put up with my strange demands. He was mixing ‘Still Drowning’ and I said “my mix is still better” and he overheated for about 2 minutes and then calmly went back to work! Meanwhile back in Manhattan (I moved to 114 E. 7′th St. Apt.#11)(and I was born on 4/11/70!!!!!) a DJ at k-rock fm dropped my demos on Paul Logus (Mr. Mixer) who promptly booked me into his studio for a few months. We ended up overdubbing and mixing another 5 songs. So I was armed and ready…and my management (Magnum PR) and I bestowed upon a small upstart indy label the privilege of my new LP. Bob Ebeling

Bob Ebeling started beating on pots and pans at 2 years old and never stopped. He eventually tackled guitar, orchestration, engineering and producing. In 1993 he co-founded Ebeling Hughes, a primal psychedelic experimentation incantation that still breathes dragon fire today. In 1997 he co-founded Detroit’s Rustbelt Studios, a rock and roll mecca on the midwest map still today. His sonic touch spread and he was soon racking up album credits including Rufus Wainwright, Eminem, Remy Zero, Dead Meadow, Kid Rock, Rob Tyner(MC5), etc….. In 2002 he formed Downtown, a pseudo-band to launch his darker modern narco-rock. This took him to England where he co-produced his debut LP with Flood and Alan Moulder. Living in NYC, he continued to rack up album credits-a-plenty. In 2007 he transplanted to Virginia where we find him engineering, mixing, mastering, and writing as usual. His output is perpetual and conceptual. A lover of vintage gear and vintage tones, he is a master of the studio and of cool music. Drums, guitars, symphonic orchestration, vocals, electronics, FX and heavy tube compression are just the start of his specialties. Equally comfortable writing alternate conscious melodies or producing the next hip-hop namemaker, Ebeling is a wizard of sorts…a friendly musical wizard. Should he cast a spell it will surely resonate through time. Check out some of the bounty at myspace.com/bobbyebeling

hey guys, posting a new track called much to lose click the title to check it out. still trying to figure out how to embed the player. This is a song i’ve been playing for a while and have had a good demo of floating around. i recenlty went to viginia and recorded a few songs with Bob Ebeling, this being one of them. - they sound really cool - the mix posted is not final, but sound very nice just the same. Hoping to get a few more knocked out before the end of the summer. Just takin’ it easy and breezy for a while. check out a few more at the Ponieheart myspace page. myspace.com/ponieheart

i am having trouble sleeping these days. My brain has been overactive. I’ve been working on new songs a lot lately. Me and the Boss Micro BR have been spending a lot of quality time together. I am really stoked on some of the new songs. I promise to post something new on myspace right after the new year. Also, i am looking forward to collaborating with Brittain Ashford, a Brooklyn based musician. Her voice is delectable. That word is disgusting, but i wanted to use it. Her voice is delicious…oooh…gross. Her voice is fucking amazing! And she is extremely awesome personally which makes it all the better. Brittain will be helping with some autoharp and vocals on the next ponieheart recording due sometime in the future, not sure when. Right now i’m just concentrating on crafting the best songs possible

- anywayz, some demoing has been happening on my new Boss Micro BR - BR stands for BaddAzzRecorderator, so don’t front.
- he he he - stoked as hell that a) Delicate Cutters are back in the saddle and a) that trees with bells have been playing some shows as well. Both of those are A’s becuase there is not way to put one ahead of the other alphabetically or otherwise.

Wow! Summer got long. Then I got sick, and I still sort of am. That is a work in progress, in and of itself. So I took a month or so off to rest, and naturally, got restless.
Now, Delicate Cutters are dilligently plugging away at that next album, now looking to be titled “Some Creatures”. I was recently interviewed by Spry Magazine, which you can view at www.sprymag.com. I intend to get our first album up for sale here in the next few weeks. Good intentions…
I have been on a strange spiritual journey, these past few months, and I expect it will start to surface in the form of performance very soon. Look for updates about upcoming shows here starting in late November.
Adieu!

ooooh…this is going to be a rough day. - played chattanooga last night with north e and the mac last night…hung out with old friends and got a little too, lets say dehydrated.
- show last night was pretty good, no thanks to my new cable that totally sucked. Thanks to mario and betty, technical difficulties were eliminated - not before doing an accapella rendition of “road is long” due to my guitar cutting out completely. It was fun though -
- show in birmigham the night before was pretty good. We played the plaza which was appropriately stink infested and smoke filled. - super sloppy show due to home town jitters.
- on with the show - nashville next. - P.S. - i love you lindsay lohan.
